ＳＡＡＢ
１．悪路 ＳＡＡＢは雪国産まれ。泥道雪道得意。フロントヘビイでグイグイ前進する感じ。トラコンもＡＢＳも付いてないのに、まっすぐ走る。
２．２Ｌのラリー車 ＳＡＡＢは昔はラリー車として鳴らしていた。その古いビデオを見てると直進走行性は抜群で、泥道を鬼のように突っ走っている。がカーブが弱いのか？たまにひっくり返っていたようだ。笑っちゃいますよ！
３．密閉性 天候が悪い国で産まれたので、室内の密閉性がよく、海にはまっても浮くそうだ。（今のＧＭサーブは知らない。）サターンは米国の法律からか、外気が入るようにしてある。
４．シャーシ 雪国の車の割にシャコタン気味。底擦ることあり。
５．エンジン ＳＡＡＢのロウプレッシャーターボエンジンは絶妙。時速５ｷﾛくらいからターボが効いてくる。日本車の様にアクセル少し踏んでバンと出ない。出足悪い（軽に負ける）。しかし時速３０〜４０ｷﾛ位でパワーが出て、どこまでも加速するような気になる。友人のＳＡＡＢ９−３と、ＳＡＡＢ９００と田舎の信号でヨーイドンで競争して９００が勝った。２０００ｃｃの車だが、その辺の３０００ｃｃの車と競争しても負けないだろう。しかし高速走行中はうるさい。サターンは高速のが静かな気がする？
６．パッケージ アイポイント高い。Aピラー立っている。運転この上なくしやすい。フロントガラスが丸くたわんでいる。飛行機のようだ。後部座席のシート乗り心地最高。これは乗ってみないとわからないだろう。本国ではヘラジカ対策のためか車体しっかりしてる。セダンなのに荷物がワゴンより入る。
７．発明屋 ＳＡＡＢが始めての発想多い。他社が真似てる。イグニッションキーがサイドブレーキ横にある（安全のため）。座席に暖房付いてる（乾く）。後部座席にエアコンパイプ付いてる（後ろも暖かい）。ヘッドライトにワイパー付いてる（雪落し）。私は知らなかったが、シートベルト、独立したブレーキ、サイドインパクトビーム、凹んでももとに戻るバンパー、鞭打ち防止ヘッドレスト、ターボの量産、衝突時突出しないステアリング、フロンフリーエアコン、花粉防止フィルター、滝の様にスパークするプラグなどその他多くがｓａａｂが始めて行なった技術でそうです。こんどのサーブの発明は１．６リッター？の小さいエンジンで圧縮圧を大きくして今のサーブより大きいトルクのを作るそうです。
その他 ドアをクレーンでつり上げても落ちない。事故時、足が挟まれないようにハンドルが工夫されている。空気を吸って乾かすヒートシート。車から降りたとき足下を照らすヘッドライト。夜間走行の妨げにならないような黒字に白メモリのパネル。実用域を広くしたスピードメーター。など
８．故障 ＳＡＡＢは走行６万ｷﾛくらいから電気とゴム系統が順番にやられる。ヘッドライト暗い。エアコン良く効くが故障多い。エンジンの搭載方法が変わっているので修理が難かしい。今のは知らない。
９．燃費 SAAB９００の燃費はよかった。変な走り方してもリッター１０ｷﾛ。９−３はエアコンつけると５ｷﾛらしい。
